Ebuka Pascal Agudiegwu

Ebuka Pascal Agudiegwu is a self-taught (b. 1997, Kano) and currently resides In Abuja, Nigeria. He started making art from childhood and ventured in professionally in 2017 after an epiphany on how he could employ his craft in making sociopolitical statements while seeking to impact positive changes at the foundations of society and beyond. Agudiegwu's innate love for drawing and painting, and his creative instinct has enabled him develop a niche in the realm of surrealism. His recent works explore conversations around Precolonial African civilisations and their influences on African descendants across the globe.
Working with a variety of materials, such as: charcoal, graphite, ink, pastel, acrylic, oil paint, salt and candle flames, his works are elaborate, and challenge the critical life issues while questioning societal norms and traditions.
